ABOUT & EXPERIENCE
Production Design / Art Direction
Hannes Oosthuizen is a Production Designer, Art Director, and Hair & Makeup professional working across film, television, and commercial productions in South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.
Active in the industry since 2015, his work spans narrative features, television series, and advertising projects across a wide range of genres. In 2021, he received a SAFTA Award in recognition of his contribution to the South African film and television industry.
Hannes approaches each project with a clear focus: serve the story, respect the process, and collaborate closely with the creative team. His work is defined by strong visual coherence, attention to detail, and an understanding of how design supports performance, mood, and narrative.
